Tai in Wonderland..

In the past I haven’t been a fan of the wedge heel.. but now that I’m a mom I’ve found a new found appreciation for them. It’s hard to tote around a tot in stilettos… plus with high end brands from Chanel to Jimmy Choo what girl can resist..

Just got this dress from the gap for $20!! can’t beat that… Happy Shopping..

Dada really??

So my little man started saying “Dada” over the weekend. My husband & I got so excited!! We know he’s only making noises & doesn’t know what he’s saying but every time he learns a new skill, we start to realize how quickly he’s changing & growing. Plus I will have to admit I was a little jealous.. where’s the MaMa?? after all I’m the one that carried you around for 9 months.. still breastfeeds you… wakes up with you at all times of the night… I honesty can’t remember the last time I’ve been alseep for more than 4 hours in a row.. I’m in desperate need for some REM. OK OK I have to admit my husband does his share.. he’s on constant bottle washing duty.. wakes up with him at 4am most mornings.. so I really can’t complain, which lead me to think about the single moms out there….  doing all that works just to hear “DaDa”..  & it doesn’t end there.. I have a friend who has been a single mom for 10 years & her little girl just started saying ‘i want to live with Daddy’. Doesn’t seem fair at all when her Mom is the one who has been there doing all the real parenting work…

So I guess I’ll sit back & let my husband who deserves it hear the ‘Dada dada’ our little one is babbling with out complaint.. for now…  :)
